Innovation in heavy goods transport: New technologies with Tatra Force e-Drive

We are thrilled to share with you the amazing results of our excellent collaboration with designer Lukáš Taneček and the iconic TATRA brand to create the next generation of Tatra Force vehicles.
It is a great honour to have our work featured in articles reflecting our passion and innovation in industrial design.

This collaboration led to the successful world premiere of the #BEV battery electric truck with hydrogen propulsion #PEM, referred to as TATRA FORCE e-Drive, by TATRATRUCKS.

AV R&D was involved in the project by designing the drive system into the TatraRUCKS chassis concept, along with industrial design in collaboration with #Tanecekdesign and the exterior bodywork design.

The vehicle is equipped with the new FORCE series cab, on the development of which TATRA and AV R&D have collaborated for a long time. Tests of the new TATRA shifting mechanism in the ZC AV Chrudim were an integral part of the vehicle development.

New technologies have a key place in heavy goods transport - from BEVs with fuel cell recharging to HEVs (a hybrid combination of an internal combustion engine and a battery-powered traction engine). Combustion engines with alternative fuels are another route to the near future of low-emission propulsion.
